 My London Care offers a range of support services. Butterflies House is our Family Residential Centre providing a safe and supportive environment for families who may need temporary accommodation and support, including assessment. We also offer a range of services, including key-work, parenting programmes, and outreach support for families in need.

Butterflies House is available for families who are referred to us by local authorities or other relevant agencies. We provide support for families with various needs and challenges. Our full admissions criteria can be found in our Statement of Purpose. 

 Families are typically referred to us by local authorities, social workers, or other relevant agencies. If you believe you may benefit from our services, please contact your local authority, social worker or solicitor to initiate the referral process. 

 We understand that circumstances can change. Our staff works closely with families and referring authorities to adjust the support and accommodations as needed to meet evolving situations. 

We do allow visitors but require prior agreement, risk assessment and checks by local authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents. Specific guidelines are in place for visitor interactions. Arrangements with a local contact centre will be made where necessary. 

 Yes, we have specific guidelines regarding when children and parents should be in their rooms. Generally, children are expected to be in their rooms by 21:00, while parents should be in their rooms by 23:00, unless an exception has been agreed upon. 

The length of stay can vary depending on individual circumstances and the goals of the placement.  Assessments are a minimum of 12 weeks. Typically, placements are temporary, and the duration is determined in collaboration with referring authorities. 

All needs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. 

Families referred to My London Care by local authorities typically have their placement costs covered by the referring agency. A brief breakdown of costs is explained in our Statement of Purpose. 

Additional support and requirements can be addressed, and these can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
